Awesome! Would've been even better with sound, lol

I loved it! But after the first few sounds the sound cut off entirely. o_0 The last sound I heard was the one in the Goomba's first speech bubble. Hrm... anyway, the movie itself was awesome! How many of those sprites are edits, man? :P Primo job. And I LOVE the stands full of fans. :P Excellent attention to detail there. If I could hear this thing with sound I'm sure I'd have no complaints. ;) I'm going to try to watch it on my work computer tomorrow. Maybe I'll have better luck there. ;)

Alvin-Earthworm responds:

Hmmm, The sound works fine on my computer. And I haven't had any other complaints about it.
Maybe it's your computer?

Heehee. Cake on me. XP

You rock, Majin! I love this! It's so random and funny! And it's just perfect that you'd take a song that everyone knows the real lyrics to and substitute odd ones in for it visually! XD Excellent concept! And very smooth animation, I must say. :P Great job!

Kawaii da ne!!!

I've always been a fan of your stuffs. :P Cute, sweet, and just the right-sized dash of humor. :)

Well, first off, I guess I'll go ahead and say the "bad" stuff first. :) Although the humor was good, I think it was kind of cliché... but you know what? Human life is one big set of clichés anyway, so I've decided not to dwell on that any more than I have to. :P *Looks at her own work - riddled with clichés - and sighs* For example, in case you wanted one, the bit about the spazzy girl being late is overused in so many animé. But I dunno. :) It can be good over and over again, I guess.

I loved the part where she flushes the toilet on her brother. Classic, without being cliché! XD And overall, a very charming flash. :) I'm glad I saw it up there and decided to take a peek. Congrats on your awards! :D

Lol

I really wasn't expecting that ending. :P Well, the humor was okay, but a little too abrupt for me. :p Just the same, it's a good little short. :) Nice job, K.K.

Nice concept, and pretty cool graphics too...

...but the sound really blew. :( 'Saright really, tho, since I can't do very well with sound myself (and if my animation ever by some fluke came off as smoothly as yours, I'd probably pee myself, lol). Although most of it was quite nice, I couldn't help being put off by the differences in sound quality. I know this is tricky, but it can be overcome much more easily by doing all of your sound bytes in one session.

Anyway, all the rest was great. Although you tell people time and again it's all completely hand-done, it's pretty obvious that you employed rotoscoping, at least for the fight scenes. If you hadn't your mouth movements would have been much more fluid. Because compared to the rest of the aspects of the flash, the fighting movements were incredibly well-done. Usually that sort of thing isn't higher in quality than the easier parts. ^_~ But like I said, pretty cool overall.

Meh... It was Okay

I won't say the graphics sucked, because parts of the fighting were very good. But the character designs and the overall animation flow left a lot to be desired. However, you haven't submitted very many cartoons yet, so I'm assuming you're still a novice (like me :3). If that's the case, then Kudos to you, man, because I only wish I could do fight scenes like that. :P

The sound went well with the theme and animation. I didn't like the gunfighting Ninjutsu, lol, but that's really my own taste speaking. I do think that you waited until a little too late into the movie to reveal his motive, however. Mindless violence can only hold me rapt for so long. 9_9 I need to know a reason for conflict, or I'm gonna lose interest.

All in all, it was good, but it wasn't great. Keep at it, tho. You'll only get better!

It makes me hurt inside...

I'm watching the final cries for help that this kid produced, and all I can feel is sadness, sadness, sadness. I can't believe that his parents had no idea that this turmoil was going on inside their son. And if they did, I can't believe that they didn't get him some help. Because he needed it, and now it's too late.

I don't care who you are; I don't care how messed up you think your life is; suicide and murder are never the answer. It doesn't matter if you're Christian, Buddhist, Taoist, Jewish, or none of the above. As human beings, it's part of our own sense of reason to KNOW that killing one of our own is wrong. And people like this kid have diseases plaguing their minds that we can't even begin to fathom. Ignorance isn't an excuse anymore. We know too much about modern psychology to deny that depression, schizophrenia, and other mental illnesses are serious, life threatening, but above all else are CURABLE. I'm living proof. And anyone who refuses to get someone they care about the help that they need is only doing his or her part to proliferate these tragic types of incidents. Get these people the help that they need and deserve!

I guess that's a boobie trap for yeh...

Kudos to you, man! I don't think I'd ever go that psycho if some random guy poked my boob, but i'd probably wanna give him the pounding of a lifetime! This is a good example of animation exaggerating real life. Plus, me likes the anime style. XD Excellent artistry, excellent concept. I haven't finished my first flash yet, so I have no real right to offer any advice and/or criticism, but I think I'd like your movie even more if it had more frame-by-frame animation in it. The tweens worked well, but some small rotations of your characters would have done wonders for the overall pictures. Simple profiles and frontal views can diminish your impact. Okay. 'Nuff said on that. Great flash!

BiffTheTimid responds:

Now these are the types of reviews that I like. Thank you very much for the comments, and I thank you even more for the advice given. I'll keep your tips in mind on the next movie. Try not to go too hard on those who poke your boobs, peace, I'm out.

Excellent, as always. :P

As usual, top notch! I love your character style; it's so much like the powerpuff girls in appearance, but you add such flair and quality to your characters that they're obviously no one's but your own. Good job on another excellent movie!

On a side note, the main character of this reminded me very much of tetsuwon atom, a manga (and anime) created by the "God of Manga," Ozamu Tezuka. Here in the states, it was known as Astro Boy. Ever heard of it? If not, I guess great minds think alike anyway!

I like zucchini. Do you like zucchini? :P~~
